Jim and Greg, friends working at a tech startup, were tired of the corporate grind. When smartphones from Apple and Samsung revolutionized how people listen to audio, they saw an opportunity to lead the movement. Hanging out on the beaches of San Diego and hiking the hills, they wanted to enjoy their music in outdoor environments, and this was the birth of ECOXGEAR, The Original Waterproof Audio Company.

In 2007, ECOXGEAR launched its first IP67 waterproof and rugged speaker, and since then, the team has introduced dozens of speakers with cutting-edge features for all of life's adventures. The problem they set out to solve was adding ruggedness and waterproofing to incredibly loud, quality portable speakers for the great outdoors.

The ROLL BAR MOUNTING BRACKET allows users to mount the speaker to ATVs, golf carts, boats, and other recreational vehicles, while the multi-mode party lights add color to the music. Rated IP66, the speaker is 100% waterproof and dustproof, ready to handle rain, mud, dirt, sand, or snow.

The REAR FACING LED LIGHT BAR offers white (high, medium, or low), red, and yellow chase or off modes, while the DUAL SUBWOOFERS provide true left and right stereo sound with their two independently sealed cavities. Powered by a 300-watt peak amplifier, the speaker features 5 marine-grade speakers, including 1 tweeter, 2 mid-range, and 2 side-mounted woofers.

The ECOXGEAR speaker also comes with a 1-year warranty, ECOCAST ENABLED functionality to pair up to 100 ECOXGEAR and SoundExtreme EcoCast-enabled products, and an AUX-OUT BUILT-IN feature to daisy-chain to other optional wired speakers or powered subwoofers. With Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, users can stream audio wirelessly from their Bluetooth-enabled devices from up to 100 feet away or connect via the integrated wired AUX-IN jack.

The INTEGRATED AUDIO AND LIGHT CONTROLS allow users to adjust the volume, play/pause, forward/back, and control the backlit speaker and light bar mode. The package includes the SE18R Soundbar, a user guide, an 8-ft 12V DC power cable, and 2 roll bar mounting brackets with related hardware.
